Folk Art Embroidered Flowers

In this class we will create folk art inspired flowers from beautiful Japanese papers. Once we have cut out and glued the flowers to our paper, we will use embroidery to embellish the flowers using a variety of stitches including running stitch, stem stitch, chain stitch and fly stitch. Some knowledge of embroidery would be useful but not essential as we will learn the stitches in the class.

The workshop takes place in the studio over our shop in Terenure in Dublin D6WXN23.
