This notebook is handmade in Nepal in a workshop recognised by Fair Trade Nepal. The papers are handmade in Nepal from lokta, a fibre that is harvested every year from shrubs grown in the foothills of the mountains. This gives local employment, prevents urbanisation and helps avoid soil erosion, the silting up of the Bay of Bengal and flooding in coastal areas of Bangladesh !!!!!
