Lokta Black "sale"

This paper was €2.70 per sheet. We have a new range of Nepalese lokta papers with a wider range of colours and we're clearing this limited stock. 

This is a wonderful ecological paper. Made by hand in the foothills of the Himalayas, it gives local rural skilled employment especially for women. The crop of lokta is harvested from the bark of the lokta bush each year, and its growth prevents soil erosion and is an important biological reservoir.

This large sheet 51 x 76cm has 4 deckle edges, 30gsm.

From the image you will see that each sheet has unique imperfections, not uncommon in a handmade paper.

Suitable for bookbinding, calligraphy and many types of crafting and card making.

We ask you to chose whether you would like your large sheets rolled or folded. Rolled sheets are delivered in a tube and have a minimum delivery charge of €6.95. If you would like your paper folded to A4 or smaller than the delivery charges are calculated by weight and may be less. Ideal if you are ordering 1 or 2 sheets.
