This class will introduce students to the craft of bookbinding, and more particularly a multi section hardbound book. Beginning with simple book structures students will learn about paper, sewing and the tools needed for creating books. Over the course of the day they will create their own case bound notebook. This workshop is suitable for beginners.
The workshop takes place in the studio over our shop in Terenure in Dublin D6WXN23
Caroline Byrne is a Fine Artist specialising in book art and original print. She has been teaching bookbinding for many years in Museums, artists studios and schools.

The workshop starts at 11, there is a break for lunch for about 45 minutes, and finishes at 4:30/5pm. The class is limited to 6 participants.
