Chain Stitch Pocket Book with Amanda Durkan

This is a simple single section chain stitch workshop that is suitable for people who have never done bookbinding before. As seen in the images there is a handy pocket built into the cover

The price for the workshop includes all materials and you will walk away with your book at the end of the class. The workshop takes place in Terenure in the studio over our shop.

Amanda studied sculpture at NCAD and Interactive Media at UCC. She has always had a passion for creativity and crafts of all kinds. After spending years working in the corporate world, she decided to change direction and start her own creative business called SQUUSHED. SQUUSHED is all about bringing ideas to life, embracing the messiness of creativity, and enjoying the process. Since she was young, Amanda has had a love for notebooks, and if she ever got "lost" in the supermarket, she would always be found in the stationary aisle. By combining her passion for creativity and craft, as well as paper and process, she discovered the joy of bookbinding and now shares her knowledge with others through workshops and guides.

Why not stay with Amanda and do a full days bookbinding. She has a workshop in the afternoon as well.
